Buying Property like Buying Suit
Buying a property can be compared to buying a tailored suit. How come, you might ask? Well, they are the same in so many ways. In fact, buying real estate and buying suits are almost related in everything.
Like the suit, a homebuyer can buy a house off of the rack of any real estate seller offering properties in various prices, locations, sizes, and features. If the suits and clothes that a store offers are cheaply priced, it is most likely that its salesperson need only provide limited service to make a sale. One cannot expect excellent or full service from a discount or wholesale shop. The least you can have is a sign that reads, "Self Service." However, if you are a buyer who especially likes to be entertained and accommodated well, you should be prepared to pay more. Similarly, if you were to buy a house from a shabby listing agency, you may not get the service that you will otherwise experience if you were to buy a house from a top-class firm.
In reality, no matter how well-trained a property agent might be there are times when he just cannot accommodate prospective property buyers properly. For instance, you would ask what the schools are like within the area of your target property. If the agent who services you lacks the training or knowledge in his field, you are likely to be answered unsatisfactorily or worse, ignored. Perhaps you will just be referred to visit a certain website and look for the information on your own. A good property agent must be able to give customers an idea about every single detail on the property so you can make the right decision.
